Enero Group (ASX:EGG) appointed Ian Ball to the newly created role of chief operating officer, effective Feb. 17, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Concurrently, Brent Scrimshaw will step down as chief executive and director, effective Wednesday, the filing said.

The company's shares fell past 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
