South Korea will invest 414.2 billion won by 2031 to develop advanced technologies for future industries, Yonhap News reported Wednesday, citing the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The initiative, launched in 2022, aims to drive new technology across sectors. This year, the government added three new focus areas - energy transmission beyond space-time limits, advanced cybersecurity, and neuro-AI fusion - to enhance human capabilities, the report said.
