DeTai New Energy Group (HKG:0559) expects a net profit between HK$5 million and HK$10 million for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2024, against a net loss of HK$55 million for the same period in 2023, a Thursday bourse filing said.

The hospitality business company attributed the expected turnaround to a net gain on fair value change of financial assets.
