Royal Philips (PHG) and Mass General Brigham said Friday they signed a new partnership to develop and deploy advanced data infrastructure and artificial intelligence to enhance patient care.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The parties intend to combine their specialties to gather detailed data from medical devices and other sources to form a single, real-time data and insights system, they added.

Mass General will integrate its biomedical engineering team, clinical sub-specialists, digital teams, and internal AI business unit with Philips' research and business teams, the companies said.
