GoFintech Innovation (HKG:0290) unit Galaxy Way Development sold 18,860,000, or 0.36%, shares in Jinhai Medical Technology (HKG:2225) for nearly HK$27 million, or HK$1.43 apiece, a Feb. 21 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The shares were sold between Nov. 4, 2024, and Jan. 15, 2025, on the open market.
The firm also, on Feb. 21, agreed to sell 42,940,000, or 0.83%, shares in Jinhai Medical Technology to Wang Qiang, a third-party investor, for roughly HK$60.12 million, or HK$1.40 per share.
The disposal comes about in order for the firm to optimize its investment portfolio and enhance resource allocation efficiency.
