Marmota (ASX:MEU) said the potential strike of its titanium heavy minerals sands discovery at Muckanippie in South Australia was extended after it identified leucoxene in historical works by Flinders Mines, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It said 100% leucoxene was observed in all heavy mineral concentrate samples in historical work at its tenement, west of the discovery at Muckanippie.
Leucoxene is a high-value, high-titanium-content mineral.
Its shares rose 4% on market close on Monday.
