AUO Unit Sells GCS Shares to Epistar for NT$289 Million

AUO's (TPE:2409) unit Ronly sold 3.5 million privately placed common shares of GCS Holdings to Epistar for NT$289 million, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The deal generated a pre-cost disposal gain of about NT$146 million, which will be recognized in retained earnings, the optoelectronic solutions provider said.
