Maximus Resources (ASX:MXR) said Mark Connelly has been appointed as non-executive chair of the company, succeeding Martin Janes, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The change comes after Astral Resources' (ASX:AAR) recent off-market takeover bid for the company.
Maximus Resources' shares were down 3% in recent Tuesday trade, while Astral Resources' shares fell 2%.
