Dong Mingzhu is expected to remain Gree Electric Appliances' (SHE:000651) chairwoman after being named one of the five nominees for the post, Yicai Global reported Tuesday.
Also included in the list are directors Zhang Wei and Zhang Jundu, as well as Vice President Shu Lizhi and Zhong Chengbao, the company's chief engineer and assistant president, the report said.
Lately, Dong, who has been the Chinese home appliances company's chairman since 2012, identified a number of potential successors in a Feb. 20 video, the report said.
