4DMedical (ASX:4DX) received regulatory approval for its CT Lung Ventilation Analysis Software in Canada, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The software, which already has regulatory approvals in the US and Australia, enables clinicians to assess lung ventilation using standard CT scans, per the filing.

It has been classified as a Class 2 medical device in Canada, the respiratory imaging technology company said in the filing.
