- BP's BP.L boss has abandoned a target to cut fossil fuel production and put its Castrol lubricants business up for sale as he battles to convince investors that he can revive the fortunes of the energy major.

- One of Britain's leading green finance campaign groups co-founded by the screenwriter and director Richard Curtis, Make My Money Matter, is to close after funding dried up.

- The British sportscar maker Aston Martin AML.L has further delayed its first battery electric vehicle, as it announced plans to cut 170 jobs, 5% of its global workforce, in the latest step in its quest for profits.
