Argent Minerals (ASX:ARD) said reverse circulation drilling intersected shallow, broad thick zones of silver-copper-gold-lead-zinc mineralization at its Kempfield project in New South Wales, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The results included significant intercepts of 5 meters at 40.5 grams-per-tonne (g/t) grade of silver, 0.6% grade of copper-lead-zinc from 48 meters downhole, and 6 meters at 25.2 g/t grade of silver from 13 meters downhole including 1 meter at 79.7 g/t grade of silver and 0.3% copper-lead-zinc from 14 meters as well as 1 meter at 4.4 g/t grade of gold from 24 meters.
The company completed 11 scout reconnaissance drill holes totaling 896 meters in depth in January, targeting previously untested areas.
