Apollo Minerals (ASX:AON) said phase 2 drilling at Salanie gold project in Gabon, Central Africa is progressing with five holes and 520 meters completed, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Two holes from the campaign have been submitted for analysis, the filing added.
This drilling follows high-grade results from 2024 phase 1 drilling, which identified shallow gold mineralization of 5.8 meters at 8.2 grams per tonne of gold.
Company shares rose nearly 6% in recent Thursday trade.
