Synopsys (SNPS) has formed a strategic partnership with Vector Informatik to advance the development of "software-defined vehicles", the companies said Monday in a joint statement.
The collaboration leverages Synopsys' virtualization solutions and Vector's MICROSAR and CANoe software solutions to deliver an integrated offering to provide ready-to-use virtual electronic control units for the automotive industry, the companies said.
