Ausgold (ASX:AUC) reported that assay results from reverse circulation drilling at its Grasmere gold project in Western Australia returned intercepts of gold mineralization, according to an Australian bourse filing on Tuesday.
The significant intercepts it identified included 10 meters at 10.6 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from a depth of 42 meters including 2 meters at 50.6 g/t grade of gold from 43 meters.
The company's shares rose 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
