Air France-KLM Offers EUR300M for 51% of Air Europa, El Confidencial Says, Citing Sources

--Air France-KLM has offered to pay 300 million euros ($325.1 million) in cash for a majority 51% stake in Spanish airline Air Europa in deal that also includes it taking on the carrier's debt with the Spanish Government, El Confidencial reports, citing unnamed sources close to the negotiations.

--The Franco-Dutch carrier's offer adds to that of German peer Deutsche Lufthansa, offering to inject 240 million euros for 25% of the Globalia-owned airline, the sources tell the newspaper.

--Should Air France-KLM's offer be accepted, Spain's Hidalgo family would retain a 29% stake in the carrier through Globalia, while International Consolidated Airlines would keep its 20% stake, the newspaper reports.
