Sonoco to Raise Some Product Prices; Cites Inflation, Market Conditions

Sonoco Products said it would boost prices for all grades of uncoated recycled paperboard products to $70 a ton due inflation and tightening market conditions.

The sustainable packaging company on Monday also said it is raising by 8% prices for all converted paperboard products. The price hikes will take effect with shipments starting on April 15.

The Hartsville, S.C., company's shares are down 3.2% this year and have fallen 18% in the last 52 weeks.
