Arika Resources (ASX:ARI) identified "significant shallow zones of mineralization" following a maiden reverse circulation drilling program at the Queen of the May prospect within the Yundamindra gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results include 20 meters at 1.62 grams per tonne grade of gold from 28 meters and 6 meters at 3.35 grams per tonne grade of gold from 52 meters.
Arika Resources owns 80% of the Yundamindra project, while Nex Metals (ASX:NME) holds the remaining 20%.
A drilling program will restart in the coming weeks to test new targets, the filing stated.
