AUO (TPE:2409) bought back 19,163,000 shares on Wednesday at an average price of NT$15.03 per share for a total amount of NT$288.1 million, according to a same-day Taiwan Exchange filing.
With this purchase, the total number of repurchased shares totaled 42.9 million for a sum of NT$644.4 million as of March 11.
The buyback represents 0.56% of the optoelectronic solutions provider's total issued shares.
