Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) reported shallow, extensional high-grade gold intercepts from exploration diamond drilling outside the mineral resource estimate area at its Boundiali gold project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Significant intercepts included nine meters at 24.61 grams per tonne grade of gold from 221 meters, as well as 10.03 meters at 2.75 g/t grade of gold from 81 meters.
Eight of the firm's self-owned diamond rigs continue drilling at the project, targeting 100,000 meters. It is planning to release two updates to its mineral resource estimates during the year while it begins work on a pre-feasibility study.
