Sembcorp Industries Completes Disposal of Subsidiary

Sembcorp Industries (SGX:U96) completed the disposal of its entire issued and paid up share capital in Sembcorp Environmental to SBT Investment 2, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.

SBT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Indonesia-listed TBS Energi Utama Tbk (IDX:TOBA).

Disposal of the subsidiary was completed after conditions precedent to the sale were fulfilled.

In an earlier filing, the company had agreed to the disposal for a consideration of SG$405 million.
