CommScope Holding (COMM) said Monday it closed the sale of its Virtual Converged Cable Access Platform, or vCCAP Evo, to Hungarian voice, broadband, and TV service provider Vidanet.
The sale includes CommScope's E6000r High Density and E6000r Remote PHY shelves, which will help the transition of Vidanet to a Distributed Access Architecture network, CommScope said.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Vidanet will deploy the vCCAP Evo solution to a centralized hub and the Remote-PHY shelves in select cities and their surrounding suburbs. CommScope channel partner HFC Technics will assist Vidanet in installing and integrating them into the network, CommScope said.
