New Sparkle Roll International Group (HKG:0970) said the Hong Kong High Court ordered three former directors, Zheng Hao Jiang, Zhu Lei, and Cheng Bin, to indemnify the company for legal costs and damages related to Bermuda proceedings and the appointment of joint provisional liquidators, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The court ruled that their actions resulted in financial losses and obstructed the legal process. Meanwhile, hearings involving four other former directors have been adjourned. The company will provide further updates on the case.
The automobile distributor's shares were up by 2% at the end of trading.
