1248 ET - Businesses in the St. Louis Fed's district expect that they will be able to raise prices more this year than they did last year, another sign of persistent inflation pressures. In a survey, regional businesses said that they raised prices by 2% last year on average, but expect that their prices will increase by 2.5% in 2025. Compared with a year ago, a greater share of companies now say they expect they will have at least some ability to increase prices on customers. The St. Louis Fed's district extends east to west from central Kentucky across most of Missouri, and from central Illinois to southern Arkansas north to south. (matt.grossman@wsj.com, @mattgrossman)
