Tsingtao Brewery's (HKG:0168, SHA:600600) net profit attributable to shareholders in 2024 rose 1.8% to 4.34 billion yuan from 4.27 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on March 28.
Earnings per share rose year on year to 3.19 yuan from 3.13 yuan, beating Visible Alpha estimates of 3.08 yuan per share.
The Chinese brewery's revenue fell to 32.1 billion yuan from 33.9 billion yuan in the prior year. The latest figure is higher than VA analysts' forecast of 30.3 billion yuan.
The company's Shanghai shares rose over 1% in recent trade.
