One CIO's Advice During Tariff Selloff: 'Turn Off the TV and Read a Book' -- WSJ

It's been a stressful day to check your investment accounts.

At Reflection Asset Management in Mount Pleasant, S.C., Chief Investment Officer Jason Britton said he has been advising most clients to stay the course with their investments, in part because he doesn't expect President Trump will keep tariffs at the levels announced Wednesday.

"The best advice is to turn off the TV and read a book," Britton said. "He's not going to destroy the economy in his second term. I have to believe that this is saber rattling and that eventually we'll find some common ground."
