Brookside Energy (ASX:BRK) said drilling operations at the Bruins well in Oklahoma were completed ahead of schedule, and the well was safely secured, with production casing successfully run and cemented in place, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

It reached its planned total measured depth of around 16,718 feet, with the lateral positioned within the targeted Woodford shale, the filing said.

The Kenai rig 19 is being demobilized and the firm is preparing for the next phase at the well, comprising of construction and installation of surface production facilities, per the filing.
