Sun Max Tech's (TPE:6591) unit POWER Logic approved a $12 million investment to establish a unit in Thailand, tentatively named POWER LOGIC TECH (THAILAND).

The investment will be funded internally, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The move is in line with the cooling fans manufacturer's long-term strategy and overseas expansion plans.
