Esquire Financial (ESQ) said its Esquire Bank unit signed a joint venture agreement with Fortress Investment Group to expand lending and banking services to law firms.

The agreement through funds managed by affiliates of Fortress will expand contingency fee law firms' borrowing options as well as access to credit facilities, Esquire Financial said Monday in a statement.

Financial details weren't disclosed.
