LG Electronics (KRX:066570) reported a record first-quarter revenue of 22.7 trillion won and operating profit of 1.3 trillion won, driven by strong business-to-business growth, especially in its Eco Solution and subscription businesses.

Premium home appliances, webOS-based media platforms, and IVI systems also supported Q1 performance, according to the electronics products maker on Monday.

The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) division, now independent, boosted profitability with major overseas wins and AI-led innovations, the release said.

Shares of LG Electronics fell over 6% at market close on Monday.
