White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) began a maiden drilling program at its Rae copper project in Canada, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program consists of roughly 25 reverse-circulation drill holes for a total depth of 4,000 meters, the filing stated. Six of those holes have already been drilled.
The campaign aims to target multiple high-priority areas including the Hulk sediment-hosted copper target and the Danvers volcanic-hosted breccia system, the filing added.
The mineral explorer's shares were down 6% in recent trade.
