Maris-Tech (MTEK) completed a pilot assembly of an undisclosed core product at a manufacturing facility in Michigan.
The product passed quality assurance tests, marking a step toward bolstering prospects in the US defense market, the company said Tuesday in a statement.
Maris-Tech, based in Rehovot, Israel, makes AI-powered video processing systems for drones, tactical alert systems for armored vehicles and edge devices for special forces, enabling local data processing without relying on a central server.
Shares of the company jumped 13% in recent Tuesday trading.
