1412 ET - After furniture companies saw their stocks shudder in the wake of tariffs on their low-cost, foreign manufacturing bases, Ethan Allen boasts its North America-based manufacturing provides it with a competitive advantage. "When other furniture companies moved their manufacturing overseas, we chose to stay in North America," Chief Executive Farooq Kathwari says in a press release, adding the company now makes about 75% of its furniture in the region.
