NTPC Green Energy (NSE:NTPCGREEN, BOM:544289) has incorporated a joint venture company named NTPC-MAHAPREIT Green Energy, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The new company is a 74:26 joint venture of NTPC Green Energy and Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology.

The NTPC-MAHAPREIT will be engaged in developing, operating and maintaining renewable energy parks with or without storage up to 10 GW capacities in Maharashtra and any other state in India.

Shares of the company were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
