Noronex (ASX:NRX) started its diamond drilling campaign at the Western Lens of its Fiesta copper project in Namibia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The campaign aims to confirm the copper-silver mineralization intersected at depth in an area 500 meters west of previous intercepts, per the filing. It initially targets 2,000 meters of diamond drilling.
The mining company's shares climbed nearly 29% in recent Thursday trade.
