Tesla suspended order-taking for its US-made Model S and Model X units on its China website, Reuters reported Friday.
The models are also no longer available on Tesla's WeChat applet, the report said.
Tesla did not explain the reason for the suspension, according to Reuters.
The suspension came as Beijing imposed tariffs of up to 125% to retaliate against Washington's 145% tariffs against Chinese goods, the report said.
