Travelers' board has raised the insurer's quarterly dividend by 4.8%, to $1.10 from $1.05.
The new payout, equal to $4.40 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.76%, based on Tuesday's closing price of $249.66, up from 1.68%.
The New York company on Wednesday said the increased dividend is payable June 30 to shareholders of record June 10.
