Trivago (TRVG) said Tuesday that it has promoted Head of Corporate Finance and Development Wolf Schmuhl to chief financial officer, starting June 1.

Schmuhl succeeds Robin Harries, who resigned in January after less than a year at the post. The company said at the time that Harries was leaving to pursue other opportunities outside the travel industry.
