Saint Marc Holdings Co (TYO:3395) will set up a new subsidiary, Kyoto Katsugyu, and plans to transfer several restaurant brands, including Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu and Gottie's BEEF, into it through an absorption-type split involving G-Holdings, GOLIP, and OHANA, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The move, set to take effect on Oct. 1, aims to streamline operations and cut costs.
