Dongfang Electric (HKG:1072, SHA:600875) has completed the issuance of A shares to 35 specific investors, according to a late Thursday disclosure with the Hong Kong Exchange.

The deal involved the allotment of 272,878,203 A shares at 15.11 yuan each, allowing it to raise 4.1 billion yuan.

As a result, the company's total issued shares increased to 3.39 billion from 3.12 billion, the filing stated.

The completion comes two years after the transaction was first announced in April 2023.
