Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) struck more shallow, high-grade intercepts at its Boundiali gold project in Ivory Coast, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Assays yielded up to 89 meters at 2.4 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 213 meters. The mining company said the results could pave the way for resource growth at Boundiali.
Meanwhile, work has started on Aurum's open pit pre-feasibility study, per the filing.
The company's shares were up past 1% in recent Thursday trade.
