Laser Photonics (LASE) said Thursday its Control Micro Systems subsidiary has received a "significant" order for its laser plastics marking system from a global manufacturing services provider based in San Jose, California.
Laser Photonics said the customer selected Control Micro Systems' plastics marking system to achieve precision in marking plastic components and ensure traceability. The device features 30-watt CO2 laser and dual-position rotary table to allow simultaneous loading/unloading and marking, the company added.
Shares of Laser Photonics were up 3% in recent trading.
