Granite Construction (GVA) said Thursday it has been awarded an $80 million contract from the Texas Department of Transportation to upgrade a section of Farm to Market 548 near Forney, Texas.
The project will convert the asphalt road into a concrete paved roadway, the company said. Construction is scheduled to start in July 2025 and finish in March 2027.
