Nuode New Materials (SHA:600110) signed a purchase deal with a unit of Trina Solar (SHA:688599), according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
The Chinese copper materials manufacturer, through unit Shenzhen Baijiada New Energy Materials, will supply a 4.5-micron copper foil to Jiangsu Trina Storage for 200 million yuan.
The copper foil will be used for battery cells, the filing said.
