Games developed by Tencent (HKG:0700) and NetEase (HKG:9999) were among 118 games that received game licenses from China's National Press and Publication Administration in April, the regulator said in its disclosure on Monday.
Among these were Tencent's Fate Trigger and NetEase's Extreme Battlefield.
The regulator also handed down new game licenses to other Chinese game developers such as Perfect World.
