Northrop Grumman (NOC) reported Tuesday Q1 earnings and sales that missed consensus, and its guidance for the full-year 2025 adjusted earnings per share also lagged expectations.
Shares slumped 14% as intraday trading volume rose to over 3.12 million, versus a daily average of about 1.09 million.
RTX (RTX) is projecting a pre-tax operating profit impact of around $850 million from President Donald Trump's widespread tariff rollout, Chief Financial Officer Neil Mitchill Jr. said Tuesday on the company's earnings call.
Shares declined 9.8%, with intraday trading volume rising to over 10.5 million versus a daily average of about 5.42 million.
Halliburton (HAL) shares dropped 6% amid heavy trading after the company reported lower Q1 adjusted net income and revenue.
More than 19.7 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 12.7 million.
