Excelerate Energy (EE) said late Tuesday its subsidiary, Excelerate Energy Limited Partnership, priced an $800 million offering of 8% unsecured senior notes due 2030.
The offering was increased from $700 million, the firm said. It expects to close the offering May 5.
Net proceeds will be used to help fund the acquisition of New Fortress Energy's (NFE) business in Jamaica for $1.06 billion and to repay its debt, the company said.
Shares of the company were up about 5% in after-hours activity.
