Amphenol (APH) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.63 per diluted share, up from $0.40 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.52.
Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $4.81 billion, up from $3.26 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.3 billion.
The company said it expects Q2 adjusted diluted EPS of $0.64 to $0.66 on sales of $4.9 billion to $5 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $0.56 and $4.57 billion, respectively.
The company's shares were up more than 11% in premarket activity Wednesday.
