Kakao Mobility entered into a memorandum of understanding with Japan's X Taxi to develop digital solutions for the mobility sector, the Kakao (KRX:035720) subsidiary said in a Sunday release

The two companies will cooperate in the digital transformation of taxi company management systems, smart dispatching and demand forecasting, and provision of foreigner-friendly ride experiences, the release said.

X Taxi is a non-profit organization established to innovate the the Japanese taxi industry.
