Tesla (TSLA) new car registrations in Europe fell 28% in March from a year earlier, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association said Thursday in a report.
Tesla registrations in Q1 dropped 37% from a year earlier, according to association data on the EU, UK and European Free Trade Association.
Total European sales of new battery electric cars and hybrid electric cars rose 24% in March.
Tesla didn't respond immediately to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
Tesla shares rose 2.1% in recent Thursday trading.
